While certainly not an all inclusive reference guide, it does provide a lot of excellent information for those who want to learn more about this wonderful breed. The book covers a lot of territory, and will certainly be very helpful for anyone looking to purchase one of these adorable felines.Colette Anderson provides all of the basic information, which of course would be helpful to anyone who is new to this breed of cat. She includes just about everything you would need to know in order to be knowledgable when purchasing, taking home, and taking care of your cat. There's a lot of useful information about breeders, as well as many links to important websites. The writing is very easy to understand and provides the necessary buildings blocks for prospective owners of British Shorthair cats. It's obvious from reading this book, that the author thoroughly adores the British Shorthair cat. Her writing style is infectious, in that after reading the book you'll more than likely understand why this breed is the perfect fit for so many people.Since the book was written several years ago, the pricing for kittens is out of date.
